GOOD TIMES, GOOD FRIENDS, TWO WHEELS
What’s better than seeing more and more lady riders on the road?
Watching about 2,200 lady riders from around the United States meet in California for an annual Motorcycle Campout! Groups and groups of ladies with nothing but a duffle bag and a motorcycle heading from Salt Lake City and Utah Valley to Joshua Tree, California the last weekend in October.
Babes Ride Out 4 | 2016
Extremely excited this year to follow our Timp Harley babe, Deni Karly and The Salty Babes that rode the 1200+ miles round trip on their bikes to the event. Packing all their camping stuff for the 6 day trip with nothing other than bungees.
This is the second year that the majority of our group will be heading down to Babes Ride Out in Joshua Tree. Last year was amazing as we rode out with about 14 ladies, a few whom we met from other states through instagram that were also going. We grew friendships based mainly one common interest:
For the love of riding.
Day 1: Primm, NV. (462 miles)
Day 2: Joshua Tree. (200 miles)
Day 3: Salvation Mountain. (165 miles)
Day 4: Pioneertown. (30 miles)
Day 5: Mesquite. (293 miles)
Day 6: Home. (340 miles)
(200 in a downpour rainstorm)
It’s hard to not make memories with these Salty Babes! 🙂
For a lot of us, me included, this is the longest Harley trip (solo) we’ve been on. It gives a whole new sense of accomplishment being able to power through the mishaps or setbacks that normally can go on with riding in such large numbers. The memories and experiences that we gained throughout that week will forever be unforgettable.
Can’t wait for next year!
